Whether we like it or not, watch collections are never static. Pieces come, pieces go, pieces reveal themselves to you at 1AM as you scroll the Hautology Instagram feed, and sometimes you just grow bored with stuff. No matter the reason, Hautology is here to help you evolve your collection. 

We offer direct purchasing, consignment, and trade-in solutions to best help your collection take its next step. 

How it works:

Direct: A plain sale, you present your watch to us by either shipping it to us or bringing it into our showroom. We'll assess it, and if it's something we can sell, we'll make you the best offer we can. If we strike a deal, we'll sign some forms and pay you within 24 hours.

Consignment: To put it simply, we sell your watch on your behalf for a fee. You present your watch to us by either shipping it to us (at our expense) or bringing it into our showroom. We'll assess it, discuss an achievable sale price, and hopefully make a deal. Then we'll service the watch if needed, photograph it, list it on our website and third-party sites, promote it on social media and to our base of global collectors, and display it in our showroom. If it doesn't sell within the specified timeframe, we can either return it or discuss a price adjustment. When it sells, you either get paid in 72 hours if sold in our showroom or 14 days if purchased through an online channel. 

Trade-in: Yours for ours. A trade-in is simply where you use the value of your watch to pay for a watch that we have in stock. You present your watch to us by either shipping it to us or bringing it into our showroom. We'll assess it, and if it's something we can sell we'll make you a trade-in offer. You can then use that trade-in value to buy a watch that we have. There are some caveats to trade-ins, however, depending on what you want to trade for, as some of our stock is consigned, so there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach like there is with direct sales and consignment.
